Education & Experience:

Multilingual technical translator since 1992. I have translated over 2500 legal, technical, and business documents and contracts from Spanish, French, German, Italian and Portuguese for various national and international companies.
B.A. in Spanish Language and Linguistics from the University of South Florida. Coursework included business courses taught in Spanish, advanced Spanish writing, conversation and literature as well as courses in French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Latin, Arabic and Russian. I have also taken courses in education, patent law and computer networking.
Capital One Financial Institute: credit card and call center specialist.
Computer Sales and Services: computer repair and programming, networking, technical documentation, advertising.

Rates:

My standard rate is .10 per English word.
Minimum job: $35.00
Rush work: I reserve the right to charge a premium for rush work in the amount of an additional .02 per English word.
I will negotiate lower rates for large projects with extended deadlines.

I reserve the right to refuse a project if I feel I cannot do a professional job (most of my clients appreciate this) or if I cannot complete the job by the deadline (I have never been late on a project). I always try to send a job the night before it is due. That way, it is waiting for you when you come into work. I will work with you to make your job easier.
